After allegedly breaking up four times over the past two years (and then signing to Caplitol), Interpol has been in NYC recording the follow-up to Antics, which, unsurprisingly, remains untitled. However, there is one new song title, “Mammoth”, with which to tease you. A tentative release date is set for early summer and according to guitarist Daniel Kessler’s BBC interview, perhaps we could see the band’s anticipated third LP as early as June.
