Minus the Bear readies Planet of Ice for late summer

Posted March 20th, 2007 by eric

With a remix record (Interpretaciones del Oso) having just hit shelves a few weeks ago, Minus the Bear is finishing up the follow-up to 2005’s Menos el Oso with former member, Matt Bayles, behind the desk. Bayles left the band last year to focus on production and has recently worked with Mastadon and Isis. Progress is steady according to guitarist David Knudson, “So far, we are working on roughly 14 tracks and are still working on finishing up a few more”, speaking, strangely enough, to his own website, as though he were somehow unattached.

The band is hitting the road well in advance of its new record with The Honorary Title and Chin Up Chin Up.
