Oasis, The Killers, and slew of other shitty bands set to embarrass Beatles legacy

The plan is to record new versions of songs off Sgt. Pepper to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Beatles’ landmark album’s release, but the question is why? Other bands signed up for what will inevitably be an aural shit stew are Razorlight, James Morrison, The Fratellis, and Travis. God, how completely awful just reading these names together, much less hearing the horrid abominations themselves. And you thought the Band Aid remake was bad? Can’t Paul McCartney stop this? Despite all of his ill-advised moves over the years, deep down even he’s got to know this is a bad idea. Covering The Beatles is always a bad idea.
