On March 31, 2007, Sly Stone actually showed up at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and played a 30 minute set. This is news for two reasons: 1. Sly Stone rarely shows up for scheduled concerts; 2. Vegas bookmakers had it as a longshot with odds at 45-1.

And then, according to comedien George Wallace, who booked and presented the show, Stone “went down the center aisle and thanked everybody.” So, yep, still crazy.
