Hailing from Nashville, TN and signed by Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, Be Your Own Pet plays frenzied, rudimentary garage/noise punk with equal parts hooks and energy thanks to vocalist Jemina Pearl’s Nina Hagen-esque antics.
