Granted, not everyone at a Tool show is your typical metal meathead. To be fair, Tool tends to attract a slightly smarter brand of metal fan, but just statistically with the wide net that Tool casts there will undoubtedly be a high percentage of rednecks that will sit bewildered and flummoxed by Melt Banana’s frantic, spastic noise rock. Points to Tool for having the taste to invite Melt Banana. Whether Melt Banana will be thankful remains to be seen.
