With Battles‘ debut full-length, Mirrored, a matter of days away from release (May 22), Warp Records has put together a promotional video, and it hilariously pieces together the disparate styles and personalities of all four members. Ex-Don Caballero guitarist Ian Williams is particularly amusing (dressed in a pink button down with a green polo collar popping out), as he tries to describe some of the more esoteric elements of the band’s difficult sounds and structures, as his bandmates flank him, thunderously bored.
