Amy Winehouse sets up Fall tour, ignores South

Since hyped British artists rarely make a dent stateside, it’s somewhat surprising that Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black has not only gone gold over here but has been hovering in the Top 10 for weeks now. More touring is a record company’s only strategy for the cusp of success. Winehouse is not exactly packing in the dates with barely two weeks worth of shows scheduled, none of which are in the South, of course. Well, at least she’s not canceling everything like Lily Allen did.
