Backstage at the Glastonbury Festival last weekend, Arctic Monkeys‘ singer/guitarist, Alex Turner, told the Mirror tabloid that he, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, and the Klaxons’ James Righton have formed a supergroup. Now, given that it’s the Mirror and that Turner routinely takes the piss out of the media, the chances of this being true are slim to none, except for the fact that Turner then told 3am that “It’s definitely happening. We’re recording an album. It’ll be out before you know it.”
