Having just finished all of her obligatory appearances in the US, Lily Allen has holed up in a New York City apartment to write the follow-up to her breakthrough, Alright, Still. She’s again working with production duo Futurecut, but she’s in no hurry to get any product out, saying: “The songs I’ve written so far are good, they just don’t shout anything different to me than what the last album was like and I’d like to do something different.”
Allen is scheduled to appear at the Concert for Diana on Sunday July 1 at the new Wembley Stadium in London.
