PJ Harvey is set to release the follow-up to 2004’s Uh Huh Her this September via Island. According to Harvey’s Myspace, much of the new record, entitled White Chalk, eschews guitar in favor of piano, which marks a decidedly drastic departure for Harvey’s writing habits. Harvey again worked with her long-time producer Flood and frequent collaborator John Parish, as well as the Dirty Three’s Jim White and Pere Ubu’s Eric Drew Feldman.
