Post-Punk Junk blog reborn as cable access show

If you’re a fan of post-punk, the late Post-Punk Junk’s demise was a sad day, as it archived classic interviews and clips of bands that pioneered the underground from 1979-1985. But, now fans of PIL and The Birthday Party can rejoice, as the blog has transformed into a cable-access type show with episodes collected on YouTube and broadcast live on stickam.com. It’s a self-described answer to the question: “What exactly would happen if you crossed ‘120 Minutes’ with ‘Talk Soup’ — with a little bit of ‘The Gong Show’ thrown in for good measure?” (via metafilter)
