Ride may have stumbled into some ill-advised musical tangents late in its career (on both Carnival of Light and the utterly disastrous Tarantula), but those early Creation singles are hard to top, as this video for “Chelsea Girl” attests.

I kind of liked Tarantula…well, not all of it. Admittedly, there are some crap songs, but there were others I enjoyed that wouldn’t sound too out of place in the rest of their discography.
