Eddie Van-Halen’s revisionist history

Yeah, yeah, Van-Halen is touring with David Lee Roth for the first time in two decades and then some. And it’s going to suck big time. Who the ass wants to see that geriatric nightmare? But that’s not the point. Head on over to Van-Halen’s tour page on its website and mouse over Van-Halen’s first record. What do you notice? That’s right, original bassist Michael Anthony has been unceremoniously photo-shopped off the album cover and replaced with Eddie’s son Wolfgang. What kind of fucked-up, revisionist nonsense is that? Man, Eddie must be an even bigger prick than I had imagined. What a petty cock. It’s embarrassing enough that he has the gall to replace a founding member of Van-Halen with his teenage kid and still call it a reunion. It’s not a reunion; it’s a fucking joke.
