After hearing Hum’s “Stars” in a Cadillac commercial of all places the other night, I was reminded how much I used to listen to You’d Prefer an Astronaut. When “Stars” first came out, I didn’t actually take to it. It wasn’t until years later that I eventually learned to appreciate the crushing wall of guitars coupled with Matt Talbot’s nerdy, detached vocals.

Hun was one of my all time favorite bands. Saw them live several times. Great shows. Wish they would get back together.

Love the guitar tone on this song….kind of reminds me of Galactic Cowboys.
