After a decade together, art-punk noise terror-mongers, The Blood Brothers, are rumored to have broken up, as a post on the Three One G forums attests, but there has been no official announcement from the band or its defunct label, Virgin subsidiary V2, which crumbled earlier this year. The Blood Brothers released its final record, Young Machetes, in 2006, touring relentlessly as it has been wont to do for every record. How those voices held up shrieking like that for ten years is an anomaly. Two members, vocalist Johnny Whitney and guitarist Cody Votolato, are currently touring in Jaguar Love. (via punknews)
