“In 1967 I hired Frank Zappa to score a :30 second animated TV Comercial for Luden’s Cough Drops fot $2,000. We won a Clio for “THE BEST USE OF SOUND”. It was the beginning of a two year relationship that had me filming 14 hours of footage as I traveled with The Original Mothers Of Invention to England and Amsterdam as well as here at the Garrick Theater in Greenwich Village. This is the commercial that started it all.”
