YMCK, live at the Kennedy Center

I just caught a performance by Japan’s YMCK. It was like playing Nintendo for an hour. In fact, the performance of 8 bit music was replete with entertaining 8 bit visuals, including a short history of 8 bit technology. Domo arigato gozaimashita!

After 14 years of shunning the media, Daft Punk have apparently become extraverts. WTF? Indeed, NME and assorted other news orgs are reporting that Daft Punk crashed the Grammys to back up Kanye’s performance of Stronger. Le Sigh. Video Here.
