Foals post demos on MySpace blog

Working on the follow-up to last year’s Antidotes without producer David Sitek (of TV on the Radio), Foals are trying to avoid the delay most new bands succumb to in releasing that dreaded second record. Frontman Yannis Philippakis posted some of the band’s new ideas on MySpace last Sunday, saying thus: "Anyway I figured it’s time to embrace the transparency of the Modern World (TM) and expose some snippets of what we’ve been working on. Most of this stuff is me messing round late at night lonely on a loop pedal. It’s for the most part formless and semi-instrumental." He also promises to keep the process open by posting frequent updates. The snippets so far shared sound more atmospheric and certainly promising.
