In what must surely be some sort of mid-life crisis or misguided grasp at the cover of a tabloid, Morrissey and his bandmates bare (almost) all. WTF was he thinking? Who green lights this sort of trainwreck? I love Moz as much as the next fan, but if he had asked me about this idea, I would have pulled him aside and told him to get a grip. Someone in the Moz entourage, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE grow a sac and tell the man he’s lost it.
Lord knows it would be the first time.

When I saw this on Pitchfork, I wondered if it would get Drawer B exposure.
I liked this better when the RHCP did it with socks. I feel bad for that guy second from the right. He looks like he’s trying to hide. And why is Moz fiddling with his hair when he has a record on his dick? Very odd.

it doesn’t bother me at all. it’s not like it’s a duet with korn or fall out boy. and he’s in pretty damn good shape for his age. i say kudos.

Given the amount of touring he’s done in the past couple years, I too am impressed with the shape he’s in and he’s no spring chicken.
I just think the photo is rather déclassé. I expect something like that from the Chili Peppers, not a dapper and sophisticated Morrissey.

i agree about the lack of class, but pop stars rarely adhere to social constructs. even the well-educated ones.

I guess I just expected more of him, which was my mistake. I think, in time, he’ll come to regret that cover.
