Rolling Stone’s Rock&Roll Daily posted links to two Tom Waits appearances on David Letterman from the early/mid 80’s. Their point was how similar Letterman’s interviews were only a year apart, but even more astounding is Waits’ performance of “Frank’s Wild Years” off Swordfishtrombones, which has always been a highlight for me from that record. And Waits’ suit is bad ass.
