Well, first of all, ahahahahahahahahahaha. And, secondly, what a surprise that INXS would fire its gameshow winning replacement lead singer after its “comeback” album went down in flames of greed and embarrassment and grave-turning disrespect. One can almost feel sorry for JD Fortune’s, erm, misfortune. He just wanted to be famous in a band he idolized. And once INXS realized that their laugh-out-loud-it’s-so-bad idea had run its doomed course, they simply cut ties with the dead weight. And Fortune is now homeless, living out of his car. But he has a new record coming out. Funny how that happens. As for INXS, they should never show their faces in public again and just hope no one remembers this catastrophe. [via Idolator]

Eric – what’s with the vitriol? INXS – a very talented band that has had their careers shunted by 2 selfish lead singers. This may come as a suprise to you but even with JD, they were still able to pull a crowd of 60,000 at a gig and ‘switch’ was as good as anything they’d produced before. Their show was brilliant and I can’t knock them for their creativity.
I hope they give JD another go because they still have it – and you might want to deal with the chip on your shoulder, you moron.
