So, backstage at the Grammys, Miley Cyrus’ dressing room was SO CLOSE to Thom Yorke’s, so she asked her manager to set up a meet and greet. Thom Yorke was evidently too busy brooding about the IMF and GLOBAL WARMING to toil with such trivialities like talking shop with Disney’s finest. In retaliation Cyrus put her fingers in her ears during Radiohead’s rendition of “15 Step” with the USC Marching Band and has since promised to ruin Radiohead with her tween fanbase. One witty YouTube commenter pointed out that “you know she doesn’t like them cause she said Amnesiac is her favorite album, Amnesiac is no Radiohead fan’s favorite album.” Indeed. [via Rolling Stone]

Radiohead don’t do celebrity ass-kissing. Thom even declined an offer to collaborate with Sir Paul, with the lame excuse that he’s too focused on his own music right now. Evidently Kanye felt slighted at the Grammys also.
They never will fit in with the coporate mainstream set, although they have managed to sneak into the club as complete outsiders. I still can’t figure out how they sell so well, when their music is so… smart, for lack of a better word.
