Liars self-titled fourth record is due out August 28 on Mute. The first single and video, “Plaster Casts of Everything”, precedes the full-length on August 14 digitally and on 7″. Then the band hits the road with rather unlikely tour mates Interpol in September.

Trail of Dead book European tour for late summer

According to Merlin over at trailofdead.com, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead has a summer tour plotted for Europe, kicking off in Portugal on August 5. The shows mix club dates with traditional festival stops. The band is still supporting last fall’s So Divided on Interscope.
