Arctic Monkeys are set to release their second LP entitled Favorite Worst Nightmare on April 24th via Domino. The first single “Brainstorm” starts off a chugging rocker and then melds into typical Arctic Monkeys fare, which somehow hasn’t worn out its welcome, despite the obvious lack of hooks. Alex Turner must be some kind of magician to keep your attention without relying on traditional, you know, choruses and whatnot.
