David Bowie and Sting have teamed up with club owner Ivan Kane to open a glitzy Burlesque club in New York City. Sting, long-rumored to be a frequent visitor of VIP rooms, might as well own a strip club so he can control the flow of gossip surrounding his new age-y marital rules. With the trio having plonked down 4 million to renovate an old restaurant space, the high-end gentelman’s club will have “100 percent of the focus to be on the girls and the dancing.” I’m glad their standards are high. It’s a delicate art, operating a strip club.
