Between Peter Hook’s barely intelligible Myspace blogs and his bandmates’ formal PR announcements, it’s obvious that the members of New Order aren’t on the best of terms. Rolling Stone caught up with vocalist/guitarist Bernard Sumner to try to clear things up a bit. In response to Hook’s declaration that the band is finished, Sumner says, “I find it very distasteful for him to do that after all this time. He should have had a meeting with us. I’m not having someone tell me that we’ve split up without consulting me first. I think that’s very arrogant.”
