Arctic Monkeys take a subtle shot at miming in videos with a live-in-the-studio version of “Teddy Picker” off Favourite Worst Nightmare. This video destroys the borderline un-ironic piss-take that was the “Brainstorm” video. Christ, that was a mess. Still, Alex Turner is hands-down one of the cleverest lyricists going. This record has remained in my constant rotation the better part of the year.
