Clips of new Radiohead material in strange new video

NME reports that Radiohead has posted a video featuring clips of new material its working on for the follow-up to Hail to the Thief. The video is the work of The Vapour Brothers, who directed “I Might Be Wrong” off 2001’s Amnesiac. In typically cryptic fashion, the video is prefaced by Thom Yorke thusly: “This is what happens when you spend too long listening to the same thing over and over again until you just can’t tell anymore and you have to do something else instead.”

In the video, Yorke indirectly pays homage to both Bob Dylan and INXS, holding signs up to the camera like Water Wanted and Petrol Wanted.

No release date is set for Radiohead’s forthcoming album, but it’s rumored to be released later this year.

The video is posted here: Vapourbrothers.com.
