Mod legends from two waves have reportedly joined forces, as former Jam leader Paul Weller and on/off Blur guitarist Graham Coxon are rumored to have recorded at least three songs together. A UK tabloid is claiming the material could come out as early as this summer, though there is no confirmation from either musician’s respective camps. Presumably, Coxon would steer Weller away from any boring white boy soul and get the old man rocking again.

Weller is on the bill for Glastonbury Festival this summer, while Coxon is rumored to be reuniting with Blur in the studio this August.
